IDENTIFICATION
Proof of identification must be provided upon collection of your equipment. There can be no exceptions. The ID must take the form of a driver’s license or Passport.

DEPOSIT
A damage deposit is required when hiring equipment. This deposit is taken on a pre-authorisation basis, this is where the funds for the deposit are reserved by your bank in case of any damage, theft or loss, whilst the bike is in your possession. Pre-authorisation is not a charge and no funds have been debited from your account. Funds are ‘ring-fenced’ against expenditure for the duration of pre-authorisation. By signing the On The Water Activity Agreement form you are authorising Shore Thing ltd to debit your card for any additional charges, these include any late return, replacement or repair costs or insurance excess payments.

LATE RETURNS
A late return will be charged at an additional fee of £25 per half hour per board/kayak/ebike.  Please note – we have a limited number of ebikes/kayaks/boards available so late returns are likely to mean that another customer will be disappointed. Please try your best to arrive back in time and if you suspect that you are running late please text us to let us know on 07565 670380.
